NAUGAHYDE VINYL.
Available in an extensive range of colours, patterns and textures, these fabrics provide an aesthetically
appealing, durable, hygienic and low-maintenance alternative to real leather.

Naugahyde fabrics are used for upholstery and trims in a wide variety of settings.
Applications include contract furniture (offices and retail outlets), hospitality (hotels, motels, restaurants and cafes), healthcare (hospitals, doctors’ surgeries and dental clinics), transportation (truck and car seating,
bus stations, ferry terminals and airports), and marine (seating and dashboards in power-boats, yachts
and ocean-going cruise liners).

The Naugahyde name encompasses more than 40 ranges of supple and leather-like vinyl fabrics which are UV stabilised, abrasion-resistant, stain-resistant and waterproof, with a high tear strength.
Highly suitable for environments with strict hygiene requirements, the fabrics contain antibacterial and anti-fungal agents and are simple to clean and disinfect.

Colours.
Naugahyde fabrics are offered in more than 1,000 colours, textures and patterns.
NaugaLeather™ has the subtle colours of natural hide, whilst Universal is delivered in bright blues, greens, reds and yellows.
The NaugaTek™ range gives a choice of 12 pearlised shades, and Zodiac offers a shiny finish with a glitter effect.
Patterned ranges – Custom colours are available on request, and all Naugahyde products are finished with the Beauty®Gard protective top coat.

Dimensions.
Naugahyde products are supplied in 54" wide rolls, 27.5m long. The products can also be provided in bespoke dimensions to suit specific applications.

Technical data.
Naugahyde products are exceptionally hard-wearing, exceeding the industry-accepted Wyzenbeek test standard for abrasion. The vinyls have an Abrasion # 8 Cotton Duck value of 250,000, and in the case of NaugaLeather™ and Nauga Soft, the values are 500,000 and 1,000,000. This test indicates how many times the fabric can be rubbed without showing signs of wearing through to the fabric backing. The fabrics retain their suppleness even in cold weather, with a cold crack temperature of -20°C. They are manufactured to meet small-scale flammability, Crib Source 5 and 7.

Installation and maintenance.
Naugahyde products are waterproof and wipe-clean, and can safely be disinfected with products containing sodium hypochlorite (common household bleach) diluted 1:10.

Naugahyde is used in MacDonald’s, KFC, Pizza Hut, Marriott Hotels, Carnival Cruise Liners, Fitness First, Moto, Jordan Air Force, various military applications, the NHS, Harvey Nicholls, Harrods, dental chairs, the Samsung Merchant Fleet, and a variety of other major clients, as well as upholsterers and interior designers.
 

AXIOM SUEDE.
Available in an extensive range of colours, patterns and textures, these fabrics provide an aesthetically appealing, durable, hygienic and low-maintenance alternative to real suede.

Axiom Suede is a 100% polyester micro-fibre fabric, manufactured to replicate the look and feel of fine, genuine suede.
Soft and supple to the touch and thus easily tailored, it is also very hard-wearing.
The fabric is teflon-coated and stain resistant. It is also resistant to salt water and chlorine.

Applications.
Axiom fabrics have been designed to withstand the most demanding contract uses, but is also highly suitable for residential furnishings, yacht interiors and aircraft seating and trimming.
Applications range from hotels, offices, night clubs, restaurants, residential homes, hospitals and health centres, dental surgeries, fitness and spa clubs, and airports. Axiom Suede is also used for seating and trimming in buses, cars, recreational vehicles, power-boats and cruise liners.

Finish and appearance.
Axiom Suede is available in over 130 colours, textures and realistic animal prints.
The colours of Axiom Suede range from the subtle beige, brown, tan and yellow shades of genuine suede, through vibrant reds, blues and greens, to monochrome greys, black and white.
The jacquard woven animal patterns include zebra, tiger and calf skin, whilst Axiom Suede, Ostrich and Caiman are available in 52 colourways.
Bespoke colours and patterns can be ordered at a minimum quantity of 300m.

Dimensions.
Axiom fabrics are supplied in 1.4x30.0m rolls .

Installation and maintenance.
Axiom Suede is Teflon-coated for stain resistance, and is machine washable at 40°C. The manufacturer recommends regular brushing with a medium bristle brush to keep Axiom Suede fabrics looking their best.
